MICHAEL L. KMETZ, CPA, PFS
SENIOR DIRECTOR
Michael is the managing director of OKNE. In addition to working closely with his clients, he is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the firm.
Education
Michael received his Bachelor of Administration degree in accounting from Iona College, New Rochelle, New York in June of 1976.
Experience
Michael joined the firm in 1978 and was admitted as a director in 1983. Michael divides his client services between audit, tax planning and compliance, and personal financial services. He has an audit concentration in not-for-profit organizations. His tax practice concentrates in small business and family planning, as well as estates and trusts.

AUDIT DIRECTOR
Scott is the audit director of OKNE. As such, he is responsible for the quality control of all audits conducted by the firm. His involvement ensures that all of our clients’ concerns are addressed and that the audit meets the requirements of the accounting professional standards.
Education
Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Massachusetts in December of 1988.
Experience
Scott joined the firm in 1990 and was admitted as a director in 1994. His auditing and accounting experience includes construction, developers, real estate, homeowners’ associations, recreational and social clubs, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations.

Brian received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. Continuing Professional Education seminars attended by Brian over the past two years directly relating to taxation and auditing amount to over 91 hours, which exceeds the requirements of the State of Florida.
Experience
Brian has over eleven years of experience in public accounting. He joined the firm in 1998 and was admitted as a director in 2005. Brian has an audit concentration in not-for-profit organizations. His tax practice concentrates on small business and individual tax issues.

Patrick received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Montclair State College, New Jersey. He subsequently went on to earn a Master of Accounting degree from Nova University, Davie, Florida.

Patrick has over twelve years of experience in public accounting. He has been involved in numerous audit engagements, with a concentration in not-for-profit organizations. Patrick has significant exposure to all phases of the audit process including planning, fieldwork, and report preparation.
